My "affair" with Adam began when...: "Stand & Deliver was first shown on the Dutch TopPop and Countdown TVshows. (Though I vaguely remember seeing Adam & Anette van Trigt walking through the woods while she interviewed him, mid (?) 1980.. A year later I 'really' became a fan."

When/ How?: "Pasadena, KROQ, 19??. Adam did an in-studio appearance. When he left in a mini-truck we followed. Pulled up next to him at a stop signal, chatted, and my niece who was about 8 at the time, said "We gave Marco a bear!" LOL..."

When/ Where?: "Years I do not remember, but gigs I somewhat do. First concert ever was at the Country Club (1) in Reseda, CA. Have also seen Adam and Marco at Virgin Mega Store (1), Henry Fonda Theater (2), Universal Amp. (3), Greek Theater (2), Coach House (1), Ventura Theater (1), I know there were a few others, but this all I can think of at the moment. A temporary total of 11 times, plus Pasadena."

My "affair" with Adam started when...: "I had a penpal at 13 who lived in England. She sent me a bootleg copy of Adam and the Antz. I was hooked. Not long after that I got into Punk. But when Marco joined the team, I was in Love. I just thought he was the most Handsome Man I had ever seen :-)!!!"

When? How? "I went to see him in Funeral Games 3 times, the first time with my pen pal Paul and I had my pic taken with Adam, I didn't say much as I was in shock and the second time was 4 days later with my best mate. Who's not really an Ant fan, but saw the photo's of him looking rather tasty and wanted to go, so we did! He remembered me and signed the photo of us both. My mate got a laugh out of him by saying she wanted to buy him a pint! The third time I convinced Nancy (webmistress of Ant Rap) to come all the way over to see it and I went with her. (If you want the full story, I think Caroline still has it on her web site)The first time shock , the second feeling brave , the third time , left Nancy to it..."

When? Where? "I first got to see him live in '95, on the Wonderful tour in London, I was right at the front and managed to hold his hand for about 10 seconds when he came down the steps near us. (And a very sweaty hand it was too...)"

My "affair" with Adam began when...: "I first saw Adam & The Ants on Top Of The Pops and I think it was the video for 'Antmusic' and I was hooked! And when I saw the 'Stand & Deliver' video, I was totally obsessed! I love that video and it will be my favorite forever!"
